As Seen On: Condé Nast Traveler

Another cool thing for Muddy’s Bake Shop and, by association, for me: Muddy’s was named one of the country’s “13 Destination Bakeries” by Condé Nast Traveler. I’m proud to say that my photo of the Prozac cake accompanied the blurb about Muddy’s on the Condé Nast Traveler website. Here’s a screenshot of it! (click to enlarge so you can read the nice things the website said about Muddy’s!)

As Seen On: Travel + Leisure

Well THIS is a fun surprise!

It was brought to my attention that not only had Travel and Leisure named my alma mater/photography client Muddy’s Bake Shop as one of America’s best bakeries, but they’d used a photo from my most recent product shoot to go along with the blurb about the bakery! Mad props, all around!

                                                                                                                                                                                  ^^^^photo cred!

{Coming Attractions} Muddy’s Menu Photos, IV

Okay you-y’all-ya’ll, maybe you’ll remember that I did a series of photo shoots last year for Muddy’s Bake Shop to be used for their online menu on an upcoming website redesign. I don’t know if this really counts as “coming attractions” still because…Well, that redesign is now up and running!

^^^^^ Yeah, dawg!!!

While we’d gotten photos of a HUGE percentage of Muddy’s baked goods, we did have a few stragglers/newer menu items to photograph. We had one (last?) product shoot last week at their Broad Avenue kitchen – what a beautiful space they’ve created over there, btw! You’ll be able to see the fruits of this latest shoot on the Muddy’s website soon, I’m sure, but here are a few just for fun photos in the meantime!

{Forgotten Frames} Muddy’s Edition

Oops. I did it again. More “forgotten frames” of film!

There is no good explanation as to why I didn’t remember about these photos. It’s not like some other film I forgot about that wasn’t developed until six years after it was taken. These were only taken at the end of November 2012! By the looks of it , it took me another month to finish this roll of film. Then, I dropped this roll at the photo lab (along with ten other rolls) and didn’t get to pick any of that film up until now. About two and a half months later…

What I have here are photos I took during a couple of photo shoots for Muddy’s, just as incidental shots for my own enjoyment. I had shoots at Kat’s house and at the bakery that week. I’m kind of glad I didn’t remember about these photos before getting the developed film back. I think they’re really cute and they made me pretty happy, so I thought I’d share them with you!
