Beautiful shots. I espeically love the Polaroids. The first one with her hands folded is especially old-timey looking.

I’d be curious to know if others who use the original SX-70 also find that the cameras tend to overexpose? I’ll be experimenting to see if the use of the lighten/darken wheel makes the overexposure manageable.

I saw your pictures from flickr, and was quite impressed about the colors and the contrast you had in your photos. I guess Sonar really makes a big difference, I have an original model, which I agree, it seems like it’s often over exposed.

I am so glad you wrote this up, Amanda. I always go back and forth between my manual focus cameras and a Rebel for the exact reason you stated. It’s like a glorified point and shoot when I need it. I only wish it didn’t unroll all of the film first and then shoot in reverse. It makes it difficult to swap a roll of film.
