{Getting Married} Kat + Thomas

I’m so excited to finally start sharing more photos from Kat and Thomas’s wedding weekend!

The rehearsal dinner on Saturday night was at Cafe Keough, located in downtown Memphis. I’d never been to Cafe Keough before, but it was a great venue for the rehearsal dinner. I think everyone enjoyed themselves, and I hope that shows in the photos! Here are a few favorites from that night:

The soon-to-be married folks arrived and were immediately bombarded by nieces and nephews.
Also note: Kat is wearing yellow rain boots because we were experiencing a monsoon that weekend.

This is how loved the nieces and nephews are: Kat and Thomas brought them goodie bags

So much going on in this photo. But Kat has the most expressive face

I, of course, then took a photo of them with my camera

Thomas and his mother Nancy

My FAVORITE, because Kat is just so smitten with the man she’s about to marry

Then it was time for the toasts, which were full of heartwarming stories and well wishes for Kat and Thomas.

Everyone there will understand what I mean when I say, “And then this happened…”

I can’t wait to share photos from Kat and Thomas’s wedding day with you next! Watch this space!

{Instant Wedding} Kat and Thomas

Pretty soon, I will be posting a mega epic post of photos from Kat and Thomas’s wedding weekend. But first, here are some of the Polaroid/Impossible Project photos I took of all the partying that went on!

First, there was the rehearsal dinner Saturday night at Cafe Keough, located in downtown Memphis

The next morning, the wedding itself was at Kat and Thomas’s church, St. John’s Episcopal. The ceremony took place during the Sunday morning service. After the service, there was a champagne reception in the church fellowship hall.

{Getting Married} Jennifer + Chris

I’ll be sharing photos from Jennifer and Chris’s wedding soon, but I actually began my coverage of their wedding at the rehearsal dinner. I loved doing that, because it gave me a chance to get familiar with the bride and groom, along with friends and family who would be there the next day at the ceremony.

I had a great time photographing the rehearsal dinner, so I thought I’d post some snapshots from that night before I share their wedding photos with you!

IT’S PARTY TIME! EXCELLENT! {Part Deux}

Hey! How about some more photos from Muddy’s birthday bash last month?

Congratulations on a super successful first four years at Muddy’s. And many happy returns!

What’s a Muddy’s party without champagne in classy, vingtage-style “champagne coupes”?

LOTS of friends of the shop and customers came in to celebrate with the Muddy’s gang

There was even a performance of an original song about Muddy’s!

No birthday party is complete without the “Happy Birthday” song. Kat was serenaded by a rendition of the song, played on kazoo and ukulele

Just a few of the staff members it takes to keep Muddy’s up and running AND awesome!

Again, congratulations to Kat and everyone who has worked so hard over the past four years to make Muddy’s a success. I’m sure there are many more Leap Day parties in your future 🙂
